Back from the Backburner

During the greatest explosion of piracy news in the electronic era, we foolishly put updating this site on the backburner while we prepared book reviews, country/region/history primers and interviews. Well, the first major piracy prosecution in the United States since the hubbub surrounding the Ambrose Light in 1885 certainly woke us up. Today, we have a report from our man in the 5th floor of New York’s Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse and we’ll follow that up with our cursory overview of Mr. Muse’s case, our highly anticipated “HSP’s Somali Primer” and then our grand, one-stop round-up of Somali Piracy 2009. As always, if there’s anything you want us to cover, just let us know.
